Millets Dosa


Kambu – 1cup
Varagu arisi – 1cup,
Saamai arisi – 1cup,
Kuthiraivali arisi – 1cup,
Thinai – 1cup,
White cholam – 1cup

Dry roast the above ingredients just for 2 min. & grind into a fine powder. Allow it to cool & transfer it into an air tight container.

How to prepare the dosa?


The above mixed powder – 1cup,
Rava – 1/2cup,
Onion – 1 finely chopped,
Curry leaves & Coriander leaves,
Salt & Oil – as required.

For 1 cup of the millets powder add 1/2 cup of rava mix with water & salt to form a thick batter.

Allow it for fermentation for about 6 to 8 hours.

Before preparing the dosa, heat the kadai, add oil temper mustard seeds & urad dhal, add the chopped onions saute till it turns pink add to the batter with curry leaves & coriander leaves & prepare tasty dosas.

Serve hot with onion – tomato chutney.
